Update for Service Providers:

Provider Review Feedback

It is always good news when a new Green Tick provider joins the Leeds Directory but it is also great to hear back from providers about their experience of the registration process and what listing with Leeds Directory has meant for them. Mick of Castle Building Service joined the Leeds Directory after having the service recommended to him by one of his customers. This is his experience of the registration process and being listed with Leeds Directory.

“Having made contact with Leeds Directory I was informed I would have to fill in various forms and have checks done to comply with the Green Tick standard. This at first seemed daunting but the administrator helped me through the process and in the end it was a very simple process. Whilst I have only been on Leeds Directory for 6 months, my company has grown. I receive between five and six calls a week from customers who require our services and I find all enquiries are genuine and have got our name and number from the Directory. Many say that they have read my ratings and reviews and are happy that my credentials have been certified. Castle Building Service is better for being listed on Leeds Directory."

Working with Leeds employers to support working carers

from Carers Leeds

What is a working carer?

A carer is anyone who cares, unpaid, for a friend or family member who due to illness, disability, a mental health problem or an addiction cannot cope without their support. A working carer is someone who has caring responsibilities, but is also in paid employment.

Evidence suggests that the numbers of working carers will continue to increase. This has significant implications for both carers and employers across the city. Carers Leeds is working with local employers to provide a rigorous and consistent approach to supporting working carers in Leeds.
