This training is specifically aimed at LGBT people, aged 16 and over who are living in the South or East of Leeds, and are interested in mental health. It will cover what good mental health means, why mental health and wellbeing are so important, some of the specific challenges that LGBT* people face around mental health, tips and techniques for self-help, and exploring some of the local support services available.
There are still places left on these courses, all you would need to do to book a place is to contact Faye Robinson by phone (0113 248 4880), or email (firstname.lastname@example.org), and complete a short registration form and questionnaire (the information they take from these forms is for the charity records at Touchstone only and is kept confidential).
